Football Team News

May 2009

The football team finished this season in third place in their league. After a disappointing start to the season, the team began to gel after Christmas and produced some pleasing results. Several Year 4 and 5 children within the squad broke into the team and there will be strong competition for places next season.

The girls also played several matches and will be entering an increased number of tournaments next season.

Next season the school will be entering the following tournaments (all matches are 7 a side).

Boys Tournament

Girls League (although this has yet to be fully confirmed)

Trials for the football squad for next season will take place in early September and there will be 28 places available.
